EDUO 9150 Assignment 5 Unit Plan

  Title:  5th Grade Woodwinds First Sounds Unit Overview Course: 5th Grade Beginning Woodwinds Grade: 5th Length :  2 classes for 40 minutes each week. This unit will coincide with the actual component of learning how to play the instrument. Unit will begin in September and will last until the end of October/early November. Expected Outcome:   Ability to identity basic components of playing a specific woodwind instrument Use of Technology: I am an itinerant teacher at 8 schools in Cambridge with teaching spaces varying from traditional classrooms to storage areas to hallways.  Technology may be only limited to individual or shared chromebooks with presentations being primarily presented on the teacher’s computer.  Distribution of Materials: Items and assignments will be distributed via a Google Site (students will be given a short link) as Google Classroom is NOT available for instrumental music.
